March 2020 - My new paper was just published in Nature Geoscience! As it turns out, the geochemical heterogeneities in the Moon's crust started having a dramatic influence on how much magma the Moon was making and where early on in its history. January 2020 - My new experimental geochemistry laboratory, The Florida Planets Lab, has passed all of its construction inspections and is now ready to get setup for some great science! Find out more about it here!

March 2019 - I was honored to present an invited talk discussing the lunar magma ocean hypothesis in a special session entitled 50 Years of Lunar Science: The Legacy of "One Small Step" at the 50th Lunar and Planetary Science Conference! The session celebrated the impact of the Apollo missions on lunar science in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of both Apollo 11 and LPSC. March 2019 - My EPSL paper on iron isotope fractionation is now available online here and will be published in the May 1st issue of the journal.
February 2019 - My manuscript on how the composition of planetary cores affects iron isotope fractionation and its implications for volatile depletion models in the terrestrial planets has been accepted at EPSL!
December 2018 - After spending a no-teaching Fall 2018 semester at the Geophysical Lab at Carnegie wrapping up a few things, Amy and I have officially arrived in Gainesville and are excited to get settled in at UF!

August 2018 - Started a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Florida! I'll be located at Carnegie in DC until December when I move to Gainesville.
May 2018 - Accepted a faculty position in the Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Florida! I will be starting the position in Fall 2018 and establishing an Experimental Geochemistry lab there.
May 2018 - Presented two talks, one related to iron isotope fractionation during core formation and the other on lunar crust building magmatism, at the LPI's Conference on Planetary Differentiation in Pasadena, CA, a meeting I helped organize.
